What is a ReStore?
The Anderson Habitat for Humanity ReStore opened its doors in 2004 to provide a place for building materials and household items to be donated and reused. The store receives donations every day we are open. Habitat’s overhead is covered by profits from our ReStore. One hundred percent of monies donated to Habitat go directly to building homes.
The ReStore was established:
- To conserve landfill space by recycling usable materials
- To offer discount prices on used and new items
- To allow businesses and residents tax deductions on all donations
- To serve as a place to volunteer for pleasure or to receive service hours
WE NEED DONATIONS! Clean out your attics and think of us when making renovations.
We take anything that is in good, resalable condition (anything except clothes)
- Building materials
- Furniture
- Household goods
- Appliances
- Small appliances
